I have worn Thorlo over the calf socks for many years. They are the only sock that would stay up even when I was dancing in a precision demonstration clogging group. They air wick well and the cushion feature of the main part of the sock was very important when dancing at 140-160 beats per minute. I never got a blister on my feet even when dancing in competition.
